Yes, yes.... its been carneval here or weeks now and today it will all be finished. Carneval here means a lot of kids on the streets with their waterballons and buckets of water.....
So I guess you know what that means.....run or get wet.......or do it like me, buy your own waterballons and give them a war!!!!
Thats what I did, i had a water fight with the kids in our street.....and it was a lot of fun.
The only bad thing was that i noticed afterwards when I came in totally wet, that I had a white shirt and a black bra underneathe......so then you can just imagine, I wont say more.
Carneval also means a lot of parades.....3 days of them
1 day is specially made for institutes and organizations......Solid peru was here too.
We were all going for the parade....about 30-40 people......
and with my luck, I got sick the day before and sayed in bed for the whole weekend, oooh joy!
Well, next year we will have a parade with our ViaVia staff, that will be cool.....
Now I have to continue working, since we are totally soaked in work, but its good to have things to do!!! ;)
Wednesday next week, 13.2 we are going to Chiclayo for a international fair that lasts 4 days, it will be fun but hard work to!(look at the map to find ou wher it is).
After the fair we will visit the tumbes of Sipan outside the same town.....
from there we will continue to Trujillo where we will stay for a few days, working a bit but also cheching out some temples, like the sun and the moon temple.
After that is time to return to Lima where we will spend a nice weekend before returning to Ayacucho.....
When we get back here the 24th of February, our boss from Belgium will come and we will have a busy week figuring everything out that we need to do together.
So, dose it sound enought??? well, its not all.
In the mean time we are searhing for our future employes and having interviews with people intrested......
The thing is that we want to train them in many things before, so we have to start in April to do it, and they will also get free english lessons during these months of training.
Jep jep, we have our hands full of things to do.....and still we are searching for a new place to live.... this place was only temporary and now we want our own home.....thats going to be fun!!!!
I think that is it for now..... I´ll let you know more when I have time again.....
